Yuzi’s Five wicket haul and Jos Buttler’s second century of season gave the Rajasthan Royals their fourth win in the IPL 2022.
Yuzi’s bowling returned the Rajasthan Royals with a sensational hat-trick when four wickets, including the skipper Iyer’s crucial wickets, fell on the 17th.
The Rajastan Royals (RR) has won the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 after defeating the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by seven runs at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Monday.
Jos Buttler’s second century season, followed by Yuzi Chahal’s five-wicket distance, included a game-changing hat-trick that gave the Rajasthan Royals a seven-run victory. Following the target 218, KKR lost Sunil Narine’s wicket on the first delivery after Shimron Hetmyer’s direct hit was an early breakthrough for Rajasthan Royals (RR).
Skipper Shreyas Iyer confidently started tapping with a back-to-back 4. Opener Aaron Finch on the other end hit two fours against the vault in his third over.
The Rajasthan Royals got off to a solid start with Jos Buttler and Devdutt padikkal in the opening round scoring 97 runs on the opening wicket. After that, Sanju Samson also recorded 38 runs, leading the Rajasthan Royals.
Jos Buttler knocked 103 runs when Rajasthan Royals released 217/5. Butler has made the second century of this year’s IPL on his 17th inning over KKR, but he was eliminated on the same over.
However, Umesh Yadav, who made some fierce hits at the end, surprised Rajasthan Royals, but Orbed McCoy finally threw a great one, clinching two wickets and winning the fourth season against RR.

With this victory, Rajasthan Royals came in second on the points table with the NRR of 0.380 and KKR came in seventh with the NRR of 0.160 Gujarat Titans continue to lead the table with the NRR of 0.395.

Jos Buttler solidified his position at the top of the Orange Cap List with his second century. Shreyas Iyer finished second on the list with 85 runs. KL rahul on third, Hardik Pandya on Fourth and Shivam dubey on Fifth position.
Updated Purple Cap list:-
Yuzi Chahal grabbed the 5 wkt haul and maintained the top position. There were no other changes to the list. T.Natrajan om second, Kuldeep Yadav on Third, Avesh Khan on fourth and W.Hasaranga on fifth position.
