World doubles squash 2022: Deepika Pallikal with Saurav Ghosal won the first-ever mixed doubles world championship.
World doubles squash 2022 championship, Deepika Pallikal has won two gold medals after giving birth last year. She and Saurav Ghosal has won the first-ever mixed doubles world championship for India after beating Waller and Waters of England by 2-0 (11-6, 11-8).
One hour later after her Mixed Doubles Game, she also won the gold in Women’s doubles with Joshna Chinappa, former Commonwealth champions, won by 11-9, 4-11, 11-8 over England’s Sarah Jane Perry and Waters.
Deepika Pallikal Karthik has given birth to twins last year only and after six months she came back strongly, as a woman it is a tough job. Kudos to her for the hard work. Congratulations to all players for this achievement. After giving birth to twins in October, Dipika had started training in December at the ISA in Chennai with Joshna and Ghosal for this championship and the hard work of all three has finally pays off.
