Beautiful skin care tips: Fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C should be included in your diet. Vitamin C is rich in antioxidants which help protect the skin against a variety of negative effects.
Some people seem to have naturally beautiful, glowing skin. While genetics can play a role in how your skin looks and feels, it’s more often your daily habits that have an impact.
Nehaa Juneja, founder of SkinWorks, shares five simple habits that many people with great skin follow.
CLEANSING BEFORE Sleeping: The “canvas” of nighttime products is prepared by properly cleansing the face before going to bed. Dirt and debris should be removed. It’s a no-brainer, but it’s still crucial. Dead skin cells, oil, bacteria, sweat and other debris accumulate on the surface of the skin throughout the day. Fine particle pollution, microscopic soot that settles on the skin during the day and can be harmful, is also present in the air.
Use a dual cleansing method to remove stubborn, pore-clogging, acne-causing impurities that may remain on your skin even after washing. Your nightly toilet is an excellent opportunity to take care of your skin. Of course, we all fell asleep in bed without removing our makeup. Who hasn’t, but it’s better for your skin if you don’t make it a habit. Get up to wash your face – your skin will thank you.
KEEP A BALANCED DIET! HEALTHY GUTS, HEALTHY SKIN: The condition of your skin reflects the condition of your body. Fruits and vegetables rich in vitamin C should be included in your diet. Vitamin C is rich in antioxidants which help protect the skin against a variety of negative effects. It also speeds up the healing process and improves skin texture. Diet and exercise affect the health of your body.
FACIAL MASSAGE: There are many more benefits to a facial massage than you might think. Not only does it relieve stress, but it also reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, increases blood circulation, firms the skin and gives your face a natural glow. You don’t have to spend an unbearable amount of money on facials. A daily five minute massage helps get rid of lymphatic drainage which removes toxins from our system. Stimulates blood circulation and leaves a beautiful shine.
SPF is non-negotiable: excessive sun exposure has a negative effect on your skin. Too much sun causes spotting and discoloration, contributes to the formation of fine lines and wrinkles, and increases the risk of skin cancer. Look for a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 15 and broad-spectrum protection. This means that it protects you from UVA and UVB rays.
DRINK WATER: There is a difference between dehydrated skin and dry skin. People with oily skin can also have dehydrated skin. Drinking enough water is the easiest way to keep your skin healthy and hydrated since our bodies are 70% water. Drinking enough water removes toxins from our body, prevents pimples and acne, and improves our skin’s elasticity. It is not for nothing that water is called “the elixir of life”. Use products that are suitable for your skin type and try to limit your caffeine and alcohol intake, as this further dries out your skin and gives it a yellowish appearance.
