Two local Jaish militants killed : in Pulwama gunfight Srinagar May 29: Two Jaish soldiers were killed in a shootout with security forces in the Gundipora area south of Kashmir in Pulwama province on Monday, police said.

Police said one of the soldiers killed by Abid Shah was involved in the assassination of Constable Reyaz Ahmad on May 13. The identity of the second victim was unknown.
The rally began on Sunday afternoon following a report by Kulgam police.
Two Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) soldiers were killed in a night shooting in Pulwama south of Kashmir on Monday, police said. The soldiers killed him and killed a policeman earlier this month, they added.

An official told the Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a joint team of police, soldiers and the CRPF after receiving information about the presence of soldiers had launched a search operation in the area.
He said that while the joint team was intensifying their search for the alleged perpetrators, the terrorists in hiding opened fire on the group, retaliated, and started firing.
Soldiers on Wednesday evening shot dead female TV singer Amreen Bhat at her home in Hushroo, Chadoora in central Kashmir district in Budgam. Her 10-year-old nephew was also injured in the shooting.
Meanwhile, another fight broke out between the military and the security forces in the Soura area of Srinagar. A police official said two LeT soldiers were killed in the incident.
The slain soldiers identified as Shakir Ahmed Waza and Afreen Aftab Malik, both Shopian residents. “They were soldiers according to category ‘C’ and weapons and ammunition were recovered from the scene,” said a police official.
