The Kashmir Files is a real tragedy-based movie.The emotional triggering film shows an injustice that happened on Kashmiri pandit(Hindu) ,they were compelled by the islamic militants to flee their own property.
Kashmiri pandits lived their life as refugees in their own country; based on testimonials of the survivors; Director showed the ugliest truth of Kashmir, Where people were just not pulled out of their houses but also thousands of genocides took place due to several political reasons.
They lived homeless for almost 30 years of their life, their home, shops, property everything got captured by the Islamic militants and leaving them with just 2 pieces of clothes. Pandits hoped for justice, they were not even acknowledged.
The story of the movie revolves around, where Pushkar Nath’s (Anupam Kher)son getting murdered in front of him by the Islamic militants, and in less that he was forced to vacate his own house with his family.

People have always idolized Kashmir to be “Jannat”, the place which could bring peace to your mind and soul , but unfortunately, after watching The Kashmir Files, beautiful things have deadly passed and the same goes for Kashmir too.
Kashmir once was a prosperous and multicultural state, but now Kashmir finds it difficult to even find normal stability, due to constant terror and anti-national tension among citizens.
Talking about the caste of the film,Anupam Kher has played the role of one of the pandits named Pushkar Nath Pandit. His acting was marvelous and gave a heart-touching performance he also mentioned in a social post how he’s film is reaching the largest audience possible.
To date The Kashmir files have become a super hit film and have reached the maximum audience, the current collection of the movie is 219.08 crores.
Indeed the movie has created lot of controversies by creating two opposite narratives emerging around.
Public reviews of this film are a little dicey too, while some people find it a very heart-touching and disturbing movie, and on the other hand, people who are claiming that the movie is politically biased and focused on creating propaganda.
