Shane Warne, a spin wizard who wowed the world with his talent, died of a suspected heart attack in Thailand on Friday at the age of 52, leaving the world stunned.
Shane Warne’s manager James Erskine stated that the Australian spin superstar had lately complained of ‘chest ache and sweating’ after enduring a “crazy” two-week fluid-only diet before leaving for his holiday.
Warne, a spin master who made the world fall in love with his trade, died in Thailand on Friday at the age of 52 from a suspected heart attack, leaving the world stunned.
“He did go on these absurd sorts of diets,” Erskine told ‘Nine Network,’ “and he just finished one where he basically only ate fluids for 14 days and he’d done this three or four times.” “It was a bit of a do-or-die situation. Either white buns with butter and lasagne packed in the middle or black and green liquids were on the menu.
“He had definitely smoked for the majority of his life.” I’m not sure; I believe it was simply a big heart attack. That, I believe, has occurred,” Erskine added.
The Thai Police said on Sunday that preliminary investigations had shown no evidence of foul play in Warne’s death, but that an autopsy had been performed.
Warne announced his weight-loss routine in an Instagram post a few days before his death, posting an old photo of himself in peak physical form.
“Operation Shred has begun (10 days in) with the goal of returning to this shape from a few years ago by July! He wrote, “Let’s go #healthy #exercise #feelgood.”
Warne had recently “saw a doctor concerning his heart,” according to Koh Samui’s Bo Phut police station supervisor Yuttana Sirisomba.
Before he departed Australia, Warne’s family told the Thai police about his history of heart issues and asthma, as well as their concern for his health.
Warne and his buddies were said to have visited the popular Thai island of Koh Samui in the Gulf of Thailand.
According to police reports, one of Warne’s friends discovered him unresponsive at 5 p.m.
While waiting for an ambulance, the group began CPR on Warne.
While attempting to resuscitate Warne, the paramedic recalls harrowing circumstances.
Anuch Han-iam, a paramedic, told how the spin icon’s pals attempted everything they could to save him. “Shane’s buddies were already attempting to resurrect him. “While we waited for an emergency, I took over giving CPR,” he told ‘The Sun.’
“They were in a dire situation.” I believe one of them was crying. They were quite tense and worried.
“They kept attempting to rouse him up, and I overheard someone say, ‘Come on, Shane,'” says the narrator. ‘Come on, Shane,’ I said. He claimed he noticed no signs of Warne splitting up in his villa.
“The villa was spotless, and there was no beer or cigarettes inside.” There was nothing out of the ordinary that led me to believe they’d been drinking. When I arrived, I had no idea it was Shane Warne. But I recognise him; he’s a celebrity.”
Last Meal
Warne’s last meal, according to one of his pals who was at the resort with him, was the famed Australian condiment Vegemite on toast.
“Rather than sampling some of the local Thai delicacies, we tuck into a dish of Vegemite on toast,” Tom Hall, the CEO of ‘The Sporting News,’ wrote on his portal.
“
“You can’t beat Vegemite with some butter, always delicious wherever you are in the world,” Shane says, chewing away.
“He was an Australian through and through, and this was to be his last supper.” As I was leaving, he went up to his bedroom to summon his children,” he added.
