Pregnant women was in labor while waiting for a metro at Platform 3 at Anand Vihar municipal station in New Delhi, the CISF said.
A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) female police officer assisted a pregnant woman to deliver a baby at the Anand Vihar Metro Station platform in New Delhi . A CISF official said a 22 year old pregnant woman was ninth month pregnant and came at around 3:25 p.m. to delhi by train from uttar pradesh on thrusday with her husband .
On the way to shift in-charge, CISF constable Anamika Kumari quickly arrived at the scene

They came to Anand vihar metro station to board a metro to reach a relative house . Then she got a labor and another passenger informed the CISF.
The woman and her baby were taken to hospital by ambulance.
