India experiences a sudden surge in COVID 19 cases, seeing increase in Covid cases in haryana, Haryana state government ordered on Monday to wear a mask to prevent the spread of the infection in the state. In particular, daily COVID infections in India recorded an increase of 89.8 percent on Monday.
India, the daily Covid 19 cases plummeted on Tuesday. Within 24 hours on Monday, 2,183 new infections were reported in the country, but on Tuesday there were 1,247 new cases and one Covid 19 death. A total of 4,01,909 tests were conducted during the same period.
In UP, masks are required for Ghaziabad, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Meerut, Bulandshahr, and Bagpat. Most of the new cases reported in the state on Sunday came from two of those districts.
Delhi, UP and Haryana have started taking fines for not wearing masks in public in the first week of April.

On Sunday, 76 new cases were reported from Ghaziabad, 33 cases from Ghaziabad, 7 cases from Lucknow, 2 cases each from Meerut and Bulandshahr, and 1 new case from Bagpat. These are also the counties with the most active cases. Of the 695 active cases in Uttar Pradesh, Ghaziabad Nagar has 280, Ghaziabad 113, Lucknow 41, Meerut 11, Bulandshahr 5, and Bagpat 2.
Health Minister Anil Vij of Haryana said masks are mandatory in Gurgaon, Faridabad, Sonipat and Jhajjar. Of the 238 new cases reported in the state on Monday, 198 were from Gurgaon and 22 were from Faridabad. More than half of the districts in the state do not report new cases.
Currently, the daily positive rate is 0.31% and the weekly positive rate is 0.34%.
Meanwhile, the cumulative Covid19 vaccination rate in India exceeded 186.72 million.
As of 8am on Tuesday, there are 11,860 active cases in India.
Maharashtra, Delhi, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have lifted their Mask rule on April 1st. Within 18 days, UP and Haryana regained control in some districts.
Experts say the COVID 19 pandemic is so prevalent that it may not be the best time to publish unmasking guidelines. Failure to follow the COVID protocol, such as maintaining social distance or wearing a mask, greatly increases the risk of infection.
