The cause of the fire is not yet known, however, it is expected that there will be a short circuit as to the cause, the Delhi fire chief told PTI media.

According to a police official in Sonipat, Methanol and other chemicals were stored at the factory.
The official confirmed that no one was trapped inside the factory.
“About 50 firefighters’ tenders, most of them called in Sonipat and neighboring Haryana and Delhi counties are trying to contain the flames,” he said.

However, this is not the first fire in or near Delhi in the past few days. On Sunday, a fire broke out in Delhi’s Uphaar Cinema near the city’s Green Park station.
Five firefighters were rushed to the scene to put out the blaze. However, no one was reported injured. The furniture inside the hall caught fire, causing the incident.

Another fire broke out on Thursday afternoon at a restaurant in Delhi in Punjabi Bagh. Although the cause of the fire was unknown, no injuries had been reported.
That same day, another fire at a restaurant in Jamia Nagar left 13 injured. The cause of the fire was later identified as a cylinder explosion. The injured were taken to Holy Family Hospital.
He said no one was trapped inside the factory. “About 50 firefighters’ tenders, most of them called in Sonipat and the neighboring districts of Haryana and Delhi are trying to control the flames,” he said.

The cause of the fire is unknown. Details of the deceased, if any, are still pending.
“Prima facie, it looks like a short circuit case. “After the fire broke out, we will conduct a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the fire,” he added.
Sanjay Malik, deputy director of industrial security at Panipat, confirmed that no one was killed or injured. “The fire is under control,” he said.
Ravi Kumar, SHO at the Kundli police station in Sonipat, said, “A team of police officers and other officials from various departments are present in the area.”
The vice-president of the Center of Indian Trade Unions, Satvir Singh, said safety regulations were not followed in many factories that created such incidents. He added that two workers had lost their lives in a similar incident at Maruti Suzuki’s Research and Development Center in Rohtak in a fire earlier this month.
