Security has been beefed up with filmmaker Salman Khan following the assassination of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
According to a media report, security was tightened after the gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently being held at the Tihi Delhi prison, is said to be a key suspect in Moosewala’s murder.
A police official said Mumbai police had tightened security at the actor to ensure he was safe from the Bishnoi gang operating in Rajasthan.

Rahul, whose name is Sunni, one of Bishnoi’s close associates who was arrested in 2020 on a murder charge, had said they were plotting to assassinate Salman until they visited Mumbai for a memorial service.
Moosewala was killed in Punjab’s Mansa on Sunday.
