IIFA awards 2022, the 22nd edition will be held in Yas Island, Abu Dhabi on May 20th and 21st, 2022. The award is been taking place after the covid crisis.
The nominations for the Best Movie of the year are as follows: “83”, “Tanhaji: the unsung warrior”, ” Ludo”, “Shershaah”and “Thappad”.
The Nominations for the Best Director of the year are as follows: Kabir khan (“83”), Anurag Basu (“Ludo”), Anubhav Sinha (“Thappad”), Soojit Sircar (“Sardar Udham”) and Vishnuvaradhan (“Shershaah”).
The Nominations for the Best Actor (Female) in the Leading role of the year are as follows: Sanya Malhotra (“Pagglait”), Kiara Advani (“Shershaah”), Kriti Sanon (“Mimi”),Vidya Balan (“Sherni”) and Taapsee Pannu (“Thappad”).
The Nominations for the Best Actor (Male) in the Leading role of the year are as follows: Ranveer Singh (“83”), Vicky Kaushal (“Sardar Udham”), Sidharth Malhotra (“Shershaah”), Late Irrfan Khan (“Angrezi Medium”) and Manoj Bajpayee (“Bhonsle”).
