delhi university: “The CUET is a transparent , entrance test based system and every student will be given an equal opportunity . The prior system i.e. cut off system was not giving equal opportunities to the students ”
The cut off system did not offer equal opportunities to all students but the CUET will judge them on equal parameters and will not be disadvantageous for those who studied under boards and are not lenient in awarding marks .
The registration for the Common university entrance test (CUET) for undergraduate courses in 45 central universities will be held soon .
CUET, formerly known as CUCET stands for Inter-University Entry Examination compulsory for 45 intermediate universities from the 2022 academic period. CUET 2022-23: CUET, formerly known as CUCET stands for Critical Inter-University Entry Examination is mandatory for 45 intermediate universities from the 2022-23 education session. Testing is possible in the first week of July and the CUET application window will start from 2 April and will open until 30 April 2022. The idea of having a regular undergraduate entrance exam is to shift the focus from developing the students’ deep thinking skills to memorizing.
