A trailer for the Netflix movie Spider Head, starring Chris Hemsworth and Miles Teller, will be released soon and will remind viewers of Black Mirror. The trailer introduces us to a universe where Hemsworth’s character, Steve Abnesti, is testing drugs on people including Teller. And when they inject drugs, they lose control of themselves.

In the trailer, viewers see various inmates conducting Abnesti’s mind-altering experiments, including fighting each other, having sex, and screaming in pain. Abnesti Hemsworth watches with ecstatic awe as chaos erupts in the room, including a blood-splattering wall where her experiments are going on.
After more violence, fires, shocking places, and inmates screaming, the trailer ends with Abnesti’s words: “Beautiful people get away with too much. I say that having benefited myself from time to time.”
Based on the short story “Escape from Spider Head” by George Saunders, “Spider Head” is written by Rhett Reese and Paul and directed by Joseph Kosinski (“Tron: Legacy” and “Top Gun: Maverick”).
