The World Muslim community council 2022, Muslims Must Be Loyal to Country and Land says an Egyptian Minister Dr Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa.
Egypt’s Minister of Contribution, Dr Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa gave a speech on the first day of the World Muslim Community council 2022, meeting in Abu Dhabi.
Dr. said, ‘The concept of a united Muslim world falls under two categories: a rational one, represented by this conference, and an impossible and fictional one exploited by extremist and terrorist groups who endeavour to bring all the world’s Muslims under one flag and in one country. In our modern-day era, it is more important to have loyalty to one’s country and nation, its flag and land, than to seek an impossible unity under a newly created country. This futile endeavour bids to weaken the national state and alienate Muslim minorities living in non-Muslim communities.’
The meeting was attended by Islamic leaders from the UAE, Russia, Turkey, Syria, Azerbaijan and Egypt. The meeting was held in Abu Dhabi on 8 and 9 May.
Egypt’s Minister, Dr Mohamed Mokhtar Goma, is said to have delivered a speech on Islamic unity.
He belongs to a nation in which 90% of the population is Muslim it is a great message for all the Muslim community all over the world his speech is truly an inspiration for all of us.
The theme of the conference was “Islamic Unity: Concepts, Opportunities and Challenges”. It was organized under the leadership of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence.
At the meeting, Tolerance Minister Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak said that science should be the foundation of the Islamic world. He said: “I am not an expert, but Islam is a religion of science and knowledge. Therefore, science and research must become the basis for Islamic unification. “In modern times, it is more important, to be honest with our country, flag and land than to fail to achieve Islamic unification/unity in a newly formed country,” he said.
The Convention noted that Islamic unification contributed to the development of mankind and gave rise to a leading civilization that shaped the social and cultural integration of the Islamic world. The Islamic world has made great strides in science, art, literature, philosophy, architecture, astrology, mathematics, medicine, and music. This cultural unity spanned communities and cultures and persisted for centuries, promoting values of pluralism and acceptance.
