Nadia gang rape, Kolkata: ANI said on Thursday that the CBI team visited the homes of the victims and a key defendant to collect forensic samples.
Nadia gang rape, kolkata:
On Thursday, a team from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) visited the home of gang rape victim Nadia and the main defendant to collect forensic samples. CBI DIG Akhilesh Singh, along with CBI Joint Director Ganshyam Upadhyay, investigated the residence of the main defendant in the village of Ganrapota Bilpara, where he and his friends were accused of raping a minor girl.
However, they found that the key house accused in the case was locked. After that, the lock was chosen, and then CBI personnel entered the house. The Central Forensic Institute (CFSL) team collected samples from the suspected criminal scene at the defendant’s home.
This comes days after a 14-year-old girl died after being gang-raped in Hanskhali district, Nadia earlier this month. The victim’s family blamed the son of a panchayat leader of the Trinamool Congress for the case. The Calcutta Supreme Court on Tuesday granted permission for the CBI to investigate the case.
In detailed order, the High Court noted that in order to have a “fair investigation” and restore trust in the victim’s family, the case is being handed over to the CBI.
The State investigating agency has been directed to transfer all documents related to the investigation, as well as the detention of the accused to the central agency. The case has been scheduled for its next hearing on May 2.
In particular, on Monday, Mamata Banerjee posed the question of whether the little girl had actually been raped or had a pregnant love. “How do you know it was rape? The police have not yet identified the cause of death. I asked them. The family knew it was a love story, too.” If a couple is in a relationship, how can they stop it? “ CM gave a speech at the inauguration of Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan.
“Everyone is very concerned about crimes against women. In a country led by a female minister, even one incident is a great shame for us. We must be tolerance for these issues. I hope the police and the administration will take care of it,” he (roy) said.
“This is not Uttar Pradesh, but in the name of love jihad,” she said.
Meanwhile, Khanshali will visit on Friday a five-member fact-finding committee set up by BJP’s Chairman JP Nadda. The committee includes BJP MP Rekha Verma, Uttar Pradesh Minister Baby Rani Maurya, Tamil Nadu MLA Vanati Srinivasan, Khusbu Sander and West Bengal MLA Rupmitra Chaudhary.
The alleged gangbang took place on the night of April 4, and the girl’s family said they knew the accused and went to his house to attend a birthday party. The family added that she was forced to drink alcohol before the girl was allegedly gang-raped.
We need to teach our Sons, Brother and every guy around us to respect the girls and thier choices. NO means NO they must learn it. Justice should be given to each and every rape survivor.
