Lock Upp finale announced Munawar Faruqui as there winner; Got 20 lakh cash prize,car and Italy trip
Lock Upp finale; On Saturday 7th May, the reality show called Lock Upp, hosted by Kangana Ranaut got its first season winner, the comedian Munawar Faruqui. The winner got a cash prize of rupee 20 lakh, a luxurious Ertiga car, and a fully paid trip to Italy.
As per the reports Munawar got more than 18 lakh votes in the finale and came first in the race,following that actress Payal Rahotgi came as first runner up and Instagram influencer Anjali Arora came as second runner up.

Earlier on 6th may Alt Balaji announced their top 6 finalist named Prince Narula, Munawar Faruqui, Anjali Arora, Payal Rotagi,Azma Fallah and Shivam Sharma.
Later on the finale day Kangana Ranaut announced that the second finalist Prince Narula was never a contetsnat,he was in the Jail as the trouble maker just to make things more spicier and to be bring the individual game of the kaidis.
Munawar was declared as the first contestant to be in the top 3 with the highest public voting of 18 lakh, later that Anjali Arora was the second one to part of the top 3 by the voting of ex-kaidis( ex-contestants) And last contestant to enter the top 3 was Payal Rahotgi with queen’s card.
Kangana Ranaut took the charge and decided to eliminate Anjali Arora from the top 3 positions. The reaming battle was between Payal Rahotgi and Munawar Faruqui. Eventually, Munawar lifted the trophy.

Munawar was arrested for “allegedly hurting religious sentiments” while he’s ongoing show in Madhya Pradesh on 1 january 2021.He allegedly made fun of hindu deities and Amit shah.
He was arrested under section 295-A, (deliberate and malicious act, intended to outrage religious feeling of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs”. Also Section 269(unlawful or negligent act likely to spread the infection of any disease dangerous to life).
