Kriti Sanon wants to make a patriotic film after Bachchhan Paandey. In a recent interview with the press, the actress confirmed this and even hinted at a new project.
Kriti Sanon captured the hearts of the audience with her breathtaking performance in Bachchhan Paandey. The film, which was released on March 18, received positive reviews. It also earned Rs 13 crore in just one day after its release. Previously, Kriti sat down for a media interaction in Delhi, where she spoke about the film, her desire to appear in a patriotic film, and co-star Akshay Kumar who stuffed them all on sets. Kriti Sanon said she wanted to make a patriotic film next and also hinted at a new project. The actress said: “I would love to do a patriotic film. I love watching this genre. Somehow I haven’t found a patriotic film yet, but I hope it inspires me. I heard something but I don’t know if it works or not.” The actress has not revealed much about this new project. Kriti said there were many special moments while filming Bachchhan Paandey. She says, “It was the time when we were filming in Jaisalmer. We had a whole crew and we flew there. We were at Suryagarh Palace and the song Bewafa was only filmed there. “It was just us. We ate together, played games, it became one big family. That’s where I had the most fun.” Akshay Kumar is known to be a prankster on set, so was he playing a prank on him? Kriti Sanon said: “It’s a myth that he’s a prankster. He does little things like hide my mic or cheat on stupid charades. He makes a lot of masti. He has a great sense of humor so he always entertains you. Bachchhan Paandey is the remake of the 2014 Tamil film Veeram. The film stars Akshay Kumar as a gangster while Kriti Sanon plays an aspiring director.
