‘Radhe Shyam,’ starring Pooja Hegde and Prabhas, is due to hit theatres on March 11th.
Pooja Hegde, an actress, is a self-confessed romantic who grew up watching love stories. The actress is preparing for the premiere of her next film, ‘Radhe Shyam,’ in which she co-stars for the first time with Prabhas from the ‘Baahubali’ franchise. Pooja opened up about her next love flick with Prabhas, saying that she thinks the two of them look great together.
Prabhas is also a “shy person,” according to Pooja, but he is fairly joyful around his circle of friends. “Sometimes you know someone intimately but it doesn’t translate onscreen, and other times you meet someone for the first time and it just clicks because magic happens.” She told Hindustan Times, “I’d like to believe that we’re looking extremely fantastic together.”
The 31-year-old has already been complimented for her on-screen chemistry. Audiences adored Pooja and Allu Arjun’s chemistry in the 2020 superhit Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. “People claim that I share a terrific chemistry with most of my co-stars, whether it’s Allu Arjun, Akhil Akkineni (in Most Eligible Bachelor; 2021) or Hrithik Roshan,” she revealed (in Mohenjo Daro; 2016). I enjoy reading love stories. I’ve been watching them since I was a child. And I enjoy giving it my all in a situation. “Perhaps it translates onscreen.”
The period love play ‘Radhe Shyam’ was written and directed by Radha Krishna. The project was a collaboration between UV Creations, Gopi Krishna Movies, and T-Series. Along with Pooja and Prabhas, it also stars Bhagyashree, Krishnam Raju, Sachin Khedekar, and Priyadarshi. With the intention of making a pan-India film, ‘Radhe Shyam’ was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi. It will be released in theatres on March 11th.
