IIFA 2022: The 22nd International Indian Film Academy Awards, also known as IIFA, was held on 3-4 June 2022, postponed from the first day of 18-19 March 2022, and the day of 19-21 May 2022.
In addition, it was to be held in 2021, before it was postponed for a year, as well as the 2020 plan (2021). The awards were held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Nominees were announced in early 2022. The awards started in 2000 and the first event was held in London at The Millennium Dome. Since then the awards have been held at venues around the world showing the international success of Bollywood.

The 22nd IIFA Awards were supposed to be held in 2021 and 18-19 March 2022 but were postponed to 19-21 May 2022 due to the increase in cases of COVID-19, and again postponed to 3-4 June 2022 due to Death of UAE President and Abu Dhabi Governor Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The IIFA ceremony was held in the UAE 16 years later (2006) in Dubai. The awards ceremony is held at various venues around the world.
The International Indian Film Academy Awards, popularly known as IIFA, were held in Abu Dhabi on the first weekend of June. The IIFA Rocks event was held on June 3 and the Main Awards were held on June 4. It was a time of excitement and fun as there were many exciting performances from Sara Ali Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Shahid Kapoor, Ananya Panday and Nora Fatehi.
