Delhi news updates: In the wake of Congress protests over Enforcement Directorate’s call to Rahul Gandhi, Delhi Traffic Police on Tuesday released new passenger advice.

Traffic police asked passengers to avoid Motilal Nehru Marg, Akbar Road, Janpath, Gol Methi junction, Tughlak Road Junction, Claridges Junction, Q-point Junction, Sunehri Masjid Junction, Maulana Azad Road Junction and Man Singh Road between 7am and 12pm.

Thanks to special programs, traffic will not be possible on these roads, ”said the adviser.
Delhi Traffic Police also asked to avoid SP Marg, Dhaula Kuan Flyover and Gurugram roads between 10.45am and 11.15am due to special traffic plans.

The interrogation began at 11 a.m. Monday. The first round of questions ended at 2.15pm with lunch break. The Congress leader has returned to his residence following his visit to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in the country’s capital where his mother and interim party president Sonia Gandhi have been admitted due to Covid-related problems.
Rahul Gandhi’s questions resumed investigation in the second round at around 3.45pm on Monday.
On Monday, Gandhi arrived at the ED office in the country’s capital with his sister and Congress Secretary-General Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, during a large march of party workers with him to the office.
Congress leaders and workers staged a protest with placards at the AICC headquarters in New Delhi over the summons. Various leaders, including Chhattisgarh Prime Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Rajasthan Prime Minister Ashok Gehlot took part in the Satyagraha party march.
After a day-long protest, Congress claimed that its leader and trade union leader Chidambaram had broken his left arm after being fired by Delhi police during a protest rally in support of Rahul Gandhi.
LMC levies new taxes on cables, cars, pvt buses; the ride will probably be more expensive
The new taxes levied on commercial vehicles in the LMC budget on Monday will have a direct impact on the thousands of people taking rickshaws, e-rickshaws and minibuses to travel. Owners of cars, tempos and e-rickshaws will have to pay Rs 2,000 a year and those who own herbs will have to pay Rs 2,500 a year.
SUVs and minibuses will be taxed at Rs 4,000 per year, while full-size bus / truck owners will pay Rs 5,000 and Rs 6,000, respectively. The public body will charge a license fee to travel agencies. Smaller tourism agencies will pay Rs 8,000 and larger operators will have to pay Rs 12,000 a year. For rental car rental facilities, the annual fee will be Rs 24,000.
