David Miller in IPL 2022 batted amazingly with Rahul tewatia and helps Gujarat Titans in another win against RCB despite Virat Kohli’s and Rajat patidar’s tremendous half-century 58 runs off 53 balls and 52 runs off 32 balls respectively. Miller made 39 runs off 24 balls and Tewatia made 43 runs off 25 balls.
The Gujarat Titans defeated the Royal Challengers Bangalore with 6 wickets in Game 43 of the IPL 2022 at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday. Goal-chasing 171, the Gujarat Titans were chasing the target and won by six wickets with three balls left.
After winning the toss and choosing to bat, RCB lost an early wicket to captain Faf du Plessis to Pradeep Sangwan in the second over to mark his comeback. However, Kohli and Patidar added 99 runs partnership for their second wicket, the latter being sacked at 52. Kohli soon followed after Mohammed Shami cast him at 58. Glenn Maxwell and Mahipal Lomror made cameo appearances at 33 and 16 while RCB managed to make a total of 170 runs in 20 overs.
The GT started off strong with 51 runs scored by Wriddhiman Saha (31) and Shubman Gill (29).
Left hand spinner Shahbaz Ahmed secured Shubman Gill in front of the gate. GT Captain Hardik Pandya (3) got off Shahbaz cheap once again.
With today’s win Gujarat Titans is on the top of the points table with the net run rate of +0.377 and Royal challengers Bangalore is in 5th number with the net run rate of -0.558.
