Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022, is a two-day event which will be held on 27 May 2022 and 28 May 2022 at Pragati Maiden in New Delhi.
Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted India’s largest drone festival, Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022, in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), Prime Minister Modi will interact with the Kisan drone pilot and also with the drone exhibition centre startup when hosting the drone festival. The Prime Minister will also witness a demonstration of an outdoor drone. According to a PMO statement, India’s largest drone festival, is a two-day event that will take place on May 27, 2022, and May 28, 2022, in New Delhi at Pragati Maidan.
The Prime Minister said India could become a global drone hub. “The enthusiasm for drone technology seen in India is amazing. This energy is visible as a reflection of the breakthroughs in India’s drone services and drone-based industries. This is the job creation in India. It reveals the potential of a new major sector,” said Prime Minister Modi at the Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022 on Friday.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, more than 1,600 representatives, including government officials, diplomats, the military, central armed police, and drone startups, will attend the Bharat Drone Mahotsav 2022.
“More than 70 exhibitors will showcase various use cases of drones at the exhibition,” the PMO said in a statement. The Drone Festival will also
host virtual drone pilot certification, product launches, panel discussions, flight demonstrations, and the Made in India Drone Taxi Prototype Exhibition.
The festival will be held as the government promotes the spread of drones in various fields, including agriculture. The central government plans to increase domestic demand for drone services.
To be on the safe side, Minister of Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia opened a drone experience studio in the state think tank NITI Aayog earlier this month. So he offered two policies. These include drone shakti and Kisan Drone.
Prime Minister Swamitva Yojana added that drone technology is an example of the foundation of a revolution. “For the first time in this program, digital mapping of all assets in a country village will be carried out and 65 lakh digital asset maps will be distributed to people with the help of drones,” he added.
