A DEATH NOTE BEFORE DIED :
He had reportedly left home the night before, leaving a death note. Police then suspected he might have wandered into the area and boarded a truck to sleep. Without looking at the wagon, the workers may have filled it with sand and buried it alive.
The deceased, Somanath, was a brilliant student studying at a private college and a resident of Katmandu Layout in Hoskote Town.
His problems began when he argued with his classmates and threatened to kill him over a minor matter.
A frightened Somanath left his home on the morning of May 4, leaving a note saying that his friends had threatened to kill him, so he was going to kill himself. He also reportedly asked for action.
The search for his father, a woodworker at an interior painting company, has been lodged with Hoskote police on the same day Somanath left the house (May 4).
BODY FOUND IN MARATHALLI
Later, his body was found asleep while workers unloaded sand from a truck at a construction site in Marathalli on Saturday morning.
His body was identified from a mask found in his pocket, as it has the name of an interior design firm where his father works. Reports say doctors who performed the autopsy found sand particles in his lungs, and they suspect that he may have been the cause of his death.
CASE PASSED TO HOSKOTE POLICE :
Marathalli police said the sand for the construction of the house was taken from Bengaluru. The case has been referred to Hoskote police for further investigation.
