Saba Ali Khan slammed individuals who questioned why Amrita Singh was absent from her Women’s Day posts. Saif Ali Khan, Saba’s brother, was married to Amrita for 13 years. They split up in 2004.
Saif Ali Khan’s sister, Saba Ali Khan, often silences trolls who ask intrusive questions. Recently on Women’s Day, she shared a message for the women in her family including Kareena Kapoor, Sharmila Tagore, Soha Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan.
After being asked by social media users why she is not hosting Saif’s first wife, Amrita Singh, Saba responded with some rather cutting and sarcastic responses. She wrote: “Happy Women’s Day….! March 8, 2022 TO ALL the women who have strived to make a difference with strength, spirit, humor and humanity…Here…we celebrate you! Today “Today and always. Family, friends and missing persons… This is for each of you. #staystrong #happywomensday #happyinternationalwomansday #sharmilatagore #amma.”
A fan asked, “Where is Amrita ji?” Saba replied, “Sleeping at home, of course…I guess.” Another asked, “Did you forget to add Amrita Singh?” Saba replied, “Oops! Need to have! Thanks for the reminder… Please call me back in 2023… if you follow my nickname”.
Another commented: “The strongest one is missing, the one who single-handedly loved and supported children in your family (yes, Saif was also a child).” Saba asked him, “How old are you?” Another just wrote with sad face in the comments column “Amrita Singh”. Saba replied “You don’t like him? Suggested by your emoticon.”
Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh were married for 13 years before separating in 2004. They have two children, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Sara. Saif later married Kareena Kapoor and the couple have two children, Jeh and Taimur.
