Responding to the same, the 54-year-old actor took to social media and posted a letter apologizing for his actions to all his fans. He started the book by writing, “I am sorry”.

Kumar said he had decided to “withdraw” from the company and would now donate all his money to the “right cause”.

Kumar said the brand could continue to broadcast the ads until “legal contract period is binding on me”.

This is not the first time such an incident has happened. Earlier, celebrity Amitabh Bachchan withdrew from the advertising campaign of the company Masan Masala and claimed that he had returned the money he had been paid for advertising.
