Delhi News Updates: Massive protests at Delhi Jama Masjid’s after Namaz .Protests in Delhi erupted outside the Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, after Friday prayers.
Major protests across the country, including Delhi, Ranchi and other UP cities, erupted on Friday over the speech of suspended BJP spokesman Nupur Sharma and his former colleague Naveen Jindal, which sparked international conflict.

In Saharanpur, locals protested and tried to march on Ghantaghar after Friday prayers in the Nawabganj area. Police used sticks to disperse the crowd. The situation was tense, but it is under control now. The 136th police said they had been arrested for protests during the Ministry.

Protests have also taken place in Kolkata’s Park Circus, neighboring Howrah, near Charminar in Hyderabad, Ludhiana, Ahmedabad, Navi Mumbai and a few places in Srinagar where many people gathered, marched and chanted slogans.
