Armaan Malik and Ed Sheeran collaborate for a new single 2Step, Coming Today.
Armaan Malik and Ed Sheeran, Malik made a surprise declaration on Monday when he disclosed that he was collaborating with British singer Ed Sheeran on a new song, 2Step, due out on Tuesday. The original edition of this song was released in 2021 as part of Ed Sheeran’s 2021 album Equal. The second version of Armaan summarizes the challenges and hardships of an artist’s life and journey.
This is Armaan’s second international collab. He previously collaborated with K-Pop star Eric Nam and American music producer KSHMR on the 2021 song “Echo”.
Talking about 2Step, Armaan said in a statement, “I am beyond excited to be featured on this version of 2step with Ed Sheeran! He’s always been such an inspiration, and I’m a big fan of his music and incredible songwriting. This is a huge moment not only for me but also for other Indian artists too. I genuinely believe that this will be the beginning for a lot more collaborations of this nature.”
He further added that the song is “about confidence, finding power in your art, and leaning on your loved ones. When we have the support of the people we love, we can overcome any adversity. Nothing can keep us from moving forward. Two steps at a time.”
The song will be out on June 7 (today) on all the music streaming platforms.
