Coronavirus News: India Reports 3,712 Cases , 5 Deaths in 24 Hours . India’s Highlights COVID-19: Active cases account for 0.04 percent of total illnesses, and the national COVID-19 recovery rate is 98.74 percent, the department said.

India recorded 3,712 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases of COVID-19 to 4,31,64,544. The number of active cases has also risen to 19,509, according to data from the Union Department of Health.
The death toll from COVID-19 has risen to 5,24,641 and 5 have died in the last 24 hours.
Active cases accounted for 0.04 percent of total cases, and the national COVID-19 detection rate was recorded at 98.74 percent, the department said.
An increase of 1,123 cases on COVID-19 in the last 24 hours was recorded.
The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.60 percent and the weekly rate was 0.56 percent, according to the department.

West Bengal’s Active COVID-19 Tally At 375West Bengal reported 57 new COVID-19 on Thursday, the health department said.The population remains at 21,204 with no killings reported in the last 24 hours.
The state has so far reported 20,19,501 cases.
Thirty-nine other patients recovered, bringing the total to 19,97,922, the department said.
There are 375 active cases in government at present.
New cases were obtained after testing 7,753 samples.
Gujarat Seems 50 Cases of COVID-19, No Death
Gujarat registered 50 cases of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 12,25,292, while the death toll remained unchanged at 10,944, the state health official said on Thursday.
The recovery rate has increased by 25 and stands at 12,14,094, leaving the country with 254 active cases, he added.
Gujarat COVID-19 statistics are as follows: 12,25,292 50 new cases, 10,944 deaths, out of 12,14,094 254 cases and people tested so far – the figures have not yet been released.
Telangana Reports 67 New Incidents of COVID-19
Telangana on Thursday closed 67 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infected people to 7,93,419.
Hyderabad reported a very high number of 40 cases.
A report from the health department said 7,88,787 people had recovered from the incident and the number of casualties so far had risen to 7,88,787.
The recovery rate stands at 99.42 percent.
No new deaths occurred as a result of this infectious disease and the population continued to be 4,111.
Chhattisgarh Sees 8 cases of COVID-19, No Death
Chhattisgarh on Thursday recorded eight cases of COVID-19, taking the state figure to 11,52,476, while the death toll remained unchanged at 14,034, the official said.
Eight cases include three in Raipur, two in Bilaspur and one in Durg, Dhamtari and Raigarh, and no new COVID-19 case has been reported in 23 counties, he said.
The number of victims reached 11,38,380 after six people ended up living alone, leaving the state with 62, the official said.
Tamil Nadu Adds 145 new COVID-19 Cases
Tamil Nadu on Thursday added 145 new cases of COVID-19, including a return to the United Arab Emirates, bringing the death toll to 34,55,758.
The death toll remained unchanged at 38,025, according to a medical report.
The state has seen an increase in new diseases over the past few days most of which have been put into collections from educational institutions.
An estimated 63 people recovered in the past 24 hours, including 34,17,022, leaving 711 active, he said .Madhya Pradesh Sees 25 Cases of COVID-19, No Death
The number of COVID-19 cases in Madhya Pradesh rose to 10,42,643 on Thursday after 25 cases were found, and the death toll remained unchanged at 10,736, an official said.
The positivity rate stands at 0.3 percent, while the recovery rate rose 49 to 10,31,653, leaving the state with 254 active cases, he added.
With 7,407 samples tested during the day, the number of coronavirus tests performed in Madhya Pradesh increased to 2,93,19,204, he said.Maharashtra Records 1,045 Cases of COVID-19, 1 deaths
Maharashtra on Thursday recorded 1,045 new coronaviruses and one death, the provincial health department said.
The number of active cases in the province also increased to 4,559.The number of cases in the province now stands at 78,89,212, and the death toll is 1,47,861.
On Wednesday, Maharashtra recorded 1,081 new cases and fatalities. The increase in cases on Wednesday was the highest since February 24.
Of the 1,045 new cases recorded on Thursday, Mumbai alone numbered 704. One death toll in the province was also reported in Mumbai.The state mortality rate stands at 1.78 percent.7 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Jammu and Kashmir
Jammu and Kashmir reported seven new cases of coronavirus on Thursday, which took 4,54,262 infections in the union area, officials said.Four cases were reported in Jammu district and two in Srinagar district, officials said.
There are 56 cases of the disease operating in the union area, and the number of casualties has risen to 4,49,452, they said.The death toll from COVID-19 in the union area stands at 4,752 with no new reports reported in the last 24 hours.373 New Cases, 2 Most Deadly Delhi; Positivity Rate 1.85 Percent
Delhi on Thursday filed 373 new cases of COVID-19 and two deaths while the positive rate stood at 1.85 percent, according to data provided by the city health department.
As a result, COVID-19 of Delhi rose to 19,07,637 while the death toll stood at 26,212.
A total of 20,195 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the country’s capital the day before, the department said in its latest building.On Wednesday, the country’s capital recorded 368 cases of COVID-19 and egg death.
