Alia Bhatt had announced her first project as a producer, Darling. This film is her second collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan after Dear Zindagi. Now it is confirmed that now the film will skip theatres and release on OTT directly, SRK’s Red chilly is also producing a film with Alia Bhatt.
Darling which is a blind dark comedy ,it features Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma, and Roshan Matthew. Bhatt took on her Instagram to a hilarious video in which she announces (not officially yet) the streaming platform on which the film will arrive. “Darling is coming on…..” she can hear saying that before trailing off.

Opening about the film, Alia Bhatt said “Darling holds a very special place in my heart, it’s my first film as a producer, that too with red chilies. We are proud and happy how the film has shaped up and we hope it will entertain and engage the audience world over”.Alia Bhatt’s darling revolves around a Mother-daughter duo. The film will see Shefali Shah playing Alia’s mother. The film’s first teaser was released with the tagline, “Offending women can be very dangerous for your health”
