Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah is the longest-running show in the history of Indian television (14 yrs) but now the main cast is quitting the show slowly.
It’s been some time since the famous poet and writer Shailesh Lodha, who became a pseudonym thanks to the character of the same name in the Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah sitcom series. The prospects for a sequel now look bleak as the writer-actor has already been reported to be dropping off the show, but the producers have urged him to continue, but he now has a new show on his card.
Lodha now appears as Shemaroo’s host. A Shemaroo TV official teased the show ‘Waah Bhai Waah’ with a headline asking viewers to guess who the host was. In the teaser where Lodha says “Taiyyar rahiye, aa rahe hain hum jald hi (Get ready, I’ll be there soon)” it doesn’t take much effort to recognize Lodha.
Wah Bhai Wah will see poets reciting satirical passages on current topics. It will also entertain the audience with humorous poetry. In addition to being the host, Lodha will read a few verses to you.
Lodha has been associated with Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah since it was founded 14 years ago. When news of his departure came, fans were shocked. Fans and producers still want him on the show let’s see whether he will be on the show or not.
Munmun Dutta aka Babita ji is now planning to leave the show as per the rumours, she is been offered as a guest in Bigg Boss OTT Season 2, But there is no official confirmation from her side yet.
Previously, Munmundatta also appeared as a challenger in Big Boss 15’s house. She joined Surbhi Chandna, Akanksha Puri and Vishal Singh in one of the Weekend Ka Vaar’s episodes.
Rumours of Munmun Dutt’s departure from TMKOC last year made headlines after the actress didn’t appear in an episode where the cast had to switch to Daman due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, Munmun herself explained that she later did not attend the filming as she did not ask her to attend the plot. “People say I didn’t report on the broadcast, which is not true at all. The truth is that the tracks on the show didn’t claim my presence. So they didn’t invite me to shoot. Production decides the scene and the next track. I don’t decide that. I’m just a person who goes to work and comes back from work. So obviously I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t need it on the scene,” she said.
