“Escaype Live” starring Siddharth, Jaaved Jaaferi, and Sumedh realising on May 20 on Disney Plus Hotstar.
Escaype Live is a fictional story written by Jaya Mishra and Siddharth Kumar Tewary that will feel so real to the viewers.
The show will be out on May 20 and features an amazing cast including Siddharth, Jaaved Jaaferi, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Swastika Mukherjee, Plabita Borthakur, Waluscha D Souza, Ritvik Sahore, Sumedh Mudgalkar, Geetika Vidya Olyan, Jagjeet Sandhu, Rohit Chandel and child actress Adya Sharma.
The show follows six app users who push all boundaries and limitations to win prize money of ₹3 crores announced by app creators.
However, the lines between virtual and real began to blur as participants took decisive steps to win. Judging by the trailer, the show promises to be colourful, exciting and full of unexpected twists, as people lose all their senses at the end.
Produced by Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s One Life studio, this nine-episode series primarily emphasizes the human desire to compete and the will to succeed. The series’ central theme explores what content creators and tech giants are willing to achieve. Set in different parts of India, the series uses different dialogue writers for each region to give it regional realism.
Siddharth who plays the leading role in the series, said: “I was attracted to Escaype Live because of the script and the characters. It was about social media, and it was fascinating to me that I was free to do what I wanted to do, sometimes anonymously and sometimes without. But there’s always the ethical question of what’s right and what’s wrong, which makes the show explosive yet exciting to me. “
