President Vladimir Putin may have to relinquish control of the Ukrainian war for days as he faces cancer surgery.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is facing cancer surgery and may have to abandon command of the war in Ukraine for several days. Putin has reportedly appointed former hardline FSB chief Nikolai Patrushev to temporarily control the invasion while he is under the knife, Kremlin insiders claim.
Shadowy Patrushev, 70, is considered to be the leading architect of the war strategy to date and convinced Putin that Kyiv was invaded by the neo-Nazis.
Anomalous claims have appeared on the popular telegram channel General SVR. It states that the source is the proper person for the Kremlin.
He was reported to have delayed an operation that would not take place until The Victory Day on Red Square on May 9, commemorating Russia’s victory in World War II. Men of military age, have significant political risk.
According to SVR, the operation was scheduled for the second half of April, but was postponed.
“they have recommended Putin to have surgery, and have been discussing and agreeing on a date,” sources said.
“There doesn’t seem to be anything particularly urgent, but it can’t be delayed.” further added.
He also suffers from “Parkinson’s disease and schizoaffective disorder,” which accompanies symptoms of schizophrenia, including hallucinations and mania.
