KGF Chapter 2 : of the 6-day boxing series: Yash-starrer is ready to skip Baahubali 2: The record for the first week of the season, and will be India’s seventh best film ever seen today.
The blockbuster KGF: Chapter 2 dropped sharply on Tuesday. The film is said to have made about Rs 19 crore on the Hindi band, according to Box Office India, after making an excellent Rs 25 crore on its first Monday. This takes the total amount of film in the Hindi band to reach approximately Rs 240 crore.
Globally, the Yash-starrer player made more than Rs 645 crore, after Rs 625 crore reported by analyst Manobala Vijaybalan on Monday. KGF 2 is now the world’s most lucrative Indian film, with Dangal, Baahubali 2, RRR, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Secret Superstar, PK, 2.0, and Baahubali: The Beginning. The film will cover the global total of Baahubali’s first film and 2.0 today, making it India’s seventh largest film ever.
KGF 2 will also break the record for the first week of Baahubali 2: Conclusion easily. The action sequence is expected to generate about Rs 265 crore on the Hindi band in the first week. This will also go beyond the full RRR Hindi version and the local release of The Kashmir Files – two major hits of the year.
In addition, KGF 2 is expected to make $ 7 million internationally by the end of the week; that is more than Rs 53 crore.
KGF 2 follows the 2018 song series, also directed by Prashanth Neel and starring Yash.
