India and the United States held a 2+2 bilateral intersessional meeting in Washington last September and exchanged views on developments in South Asia, the Indo-Pacific region and the Western Indian Ocean.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is due to hold a virtual meeting with US President Joe Biden on Monday ahead of the 2+2 India-US dialogue.
