Improved and effective surveillance: During scanning, newly installed high-resolution monitors with high precision imagery will ensure quick and quick testing of any explosions, threats of weapons etc. In addition, baggage tests will be able to penetrate X-ray up to 35 mm thick metal plate.
Input / Outbound Transmission Vehicle: The modified X-BIS system will have an adjustable and flexible conveyor belt system that can be lowered while loading and parallel output. This will especially help older passengers to easily place their luggage on a lower conveyor.
Continuous Audio-Video Monitor: A 360 degree camera installed just above the load scanner will be able to capture audio and video of the X-BIS process which may be helpful in the event of a serious incident such as theft, altercation between passengers, security personnel etc.
Other supportive provisions available to the carrier operator (CISF staff) on duty at the scanner include- Charging Wireless Sets of Sets, Handheld Devices and Cell Phones etc., the provision of a water bottle hanger and a removable rack for many uniform items. and other important matters etc.
Currently, 34 cargo scanners with special passenger features are already installed at major stations such as Kashmere Gate, AIIMS, Vishwavidyalaya, HUDA City Center, Rajouri Garden, Mayur Vihar Ph-1, NOIDA Sec-18, Palam etc., to replace the old systems.
