This year, OnePlus didn’t launch a standard version of its flagship series, only announcing the Pro version, which is a bit surprising. The company has just unveiled its OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone in India after initially launching it in the Chinese market. It was speculated that the brand would not launch the standard OnePlus 10 model and may launch the OnePlus 10 Ultra directly later this year, according to leaks.
When that happens, it will be the company’s first Ultra model. Coming back to the standard model, a new leak suggests that the company may be working on a standard model that won’t be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip. Tipster Yogesh Brar suggests that the OnePlus 10 will arrive with a Mediatek Dimensity 9000 SoC.
The quoted source even claimed that this will be released in a limited edition. While other details of the OnePlus 10 are unknown, the tipster claimed that the OnePlus 10 Ultra will launch soon. However, a previous leak claimed that the device would arrive in September, which is still a few months away.
Apart from these two models, OnePlus would also work on other phones. In the coming months, the company is also expected to launch the mid-range OnePlus Nord 2T, which could be an upgraded version of the OnePlus Nord 2. It is supposed to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset and a 4,500 mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Tipster Yogesh Brar suggests that the device will have the same triple rear camera and a 32-megapixel front camera.
It will feature stereo speakers with support for Dolby audio. The tipster claims that the handset will also have an alert slider, similar to the original OnePlus Nord series. It could come with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display running at FHD+ resolution. Leaks have revealed that the OnePlus Nord 2T will look like the Nord series from the front. The back of the device features a double-circle design. The renders show that the first circle will house the main camera and the second may have two sensors.
Additionally, we could also see the launch of the OnePlus 10R in May. The OnePlus Nord 3 is slated for release in July, while the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite could debut in April. The latter will be a toned down version of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 and could be priced at around Rs 20,000.
